As an office we have implemented the following policies and procedures. This is a developing situation and these measures may change.
BUYERS VANTAGE Office & Real Estate Closing Precautions
- Our office lobby is currently closed to the public. Guests are welcome with scheduled appointments and are limited to the parties related to the transaction. We ask that any additional family members or representatives that are not a principle in a transaction please remain at home or wait in their vehicles.
- Conducting regular environmental cleaning paying special attention to frequently touched surfaces.
- Pens will be provided to customers visiting our office or attending closings. Customers will be instructed to take those writing utensils with them upon completion of any document signing.
- A strict 'stay home' policy is in place for any staff member or agent exhibiting any signs of illness.
- Many employees and staff have been asked to work remotely if at all possible.
Property Showings
- Active listings reserve the right to suspend showings if they feel necessary. MLS has removed restrictions on showing requirements for Active listings.
- We are encouraging the use of Virtual Showings. MLS has lifted restrictions on the third party posting of videos via sources such as YouTube or Vimeo.
- Showings that do take place are required to be conducted solely by the agent and principle buyer. Individuals are sent a notification requesting them to take safety precautions such as wearing gloves and limiting the amount of surface touching that takes place.
- Routine cleaning and disinfecting in between showings is recommended and encouraged.
- If anyone in your household is exhibiting signs of illness please contact our office to temporarily suspend showings.
Open Houses
- Metro MLS has removed the ability to publish any open house advertisement.
- Due to the recent 'Safer at Home' order issued by Governor Tony Evers the holding of any in person open house is discouraged. The use of Virtual Open Houses via 'Live Social Media Post' are a great way to market a home.
